DECEMBER WRAP-UP

Hey everyone!! Check out the books I read in December. I got the chance to read 9 books in December. 4 of them were ARCs from Netgalley and 1 from Hidden Gems Books. Thank you so much Netgalley and Hidden Gems Books for providing me with ARCs. I had a great time reading these books this month. A couple of cute, easy, heart-warming romances and few children’s books made this month reading so much easier for me as I have been having a difficult managing everything. I started a couple of home tutoring this month and we are going on vacation this 9th and all of this has cut down my reading time.

You might be thinking vacation sounds like the greatest time to read, right? ?But for us, Keralites visiting back home means we are in for a whole lot more work and travel and no free time(specifically to read peacefully). It is fun for the most part and we get to see all our family and friends. At the end of the day we are just bone tired and weary and just fall head-first into bed. ??There is a lot of traveling, visiting our relatives, marriages, family gatherings, cooking and all such. So if I am able to sneak in like half an hour for me-time that would be the greatest gift I can give to myself. Because of the hectic schedule ahead, I had to read a few of these in November and some of the easy ones this month. I finished my reading in the 2nd week and had to do all the posts before I had to travel and so here we are with the Wrap-up. ?

Overall I am just happy to read the planned 8 books and an unexpected extra 1 book, I don’t want to push myself to the point where I am not able to handle all the reading. My initial plan was to read 4 books and post other content in-between and now that I have been able to finish my usual goal of 8 books and 1 extra book as well, I am extremely proud of myself. ? I am happy and grateful for being to accomplish all of it and hopefully, this month will be time for family.

Here’s a quick rundown of the FBRC ratings for the books:
