A KING’S RADIANCE (BONDS OF KIN #1) BY L.R. SCHULZ | BOOK REVIEW | Escapist Book Tours
A King's Radiance is a debut from Indie author L R Schulz. With the release of his new book, Schulz looks like he is going to be a permanent fixture in the book world and I am super excited. This book is for the YA+ audience. The story is set in the Kingdom of Zapour, and we follow three Glaive siblings who get separated by unfortunate circumstances. This is a story of familial love, friendship, and of course – justice! I have seen this title floating around Instagram quite a bit in the last couple of weeks. Also, I have heard good things from people I know and so obviously…

This is a classic fantasy series and has been known to be the inspiration for many of the more popular books. The story is set in the land of Osten Ard where the High King John Prester is dying, and his son Elias will take the throne. SOULSMITH (CRADLE #2) BY WILL WIGHT | BOOK REVIEW
Soulsmith by Will Wight is the second book in the Cradle series. We are buddy reading the whole series and had a blast reading Unsouled. While I was a bit slow to start, I still had a ton of fun reading it with our Goodreads group. Everyone had interesting things to say and new insights to provide. Highly recommend buddy reading fantasy series as it not only helps in discussing the book and ideas but also helps in catching up to elements that we might have missed or glossed over and also makes it easier to keep track of all the details.
UNSOULED (CRADLE #1) BY WILL WIGHT | BOOK REVIEW
Unsouled by Will Wight is the first book in the Cradle series. It is an Asian-inspired fantasy. Although this is a YA/NA novel, it's an exceptionally addictive and fun fantasy for adults as well. This was also one of the buddy reads I signed up for on Goodreads and had a blast reading it with our group. I started Insouled in January and am only now getting to review the book. Life got hold of me and I am behind on most of my reviews.

The Theif's Daughter by Jeff Wheeler is the second book in his Kingfountain series. Owen is older and is mentored by Duke Horwath to serve King Severn. His and Elyse's friendships blossoms into young love, and the two are inseparable as always. Severn has plans for both Elyse and Owen, and things may not progress as they wish. THE QUEEN’S POISONER (KINGFOUNTAIN #1) BY JEFF WHEELER | BOOK REVIEW
The Queen's Poisoner by Jeff wheeler is the first book in the Kingfountain series. So confession time, I read this book after reading Jeff Wheeler's Knight's Ransom. Knight's Ransom takes place several years before the Kingfountain series and takes us through the Argentine family's reign. After reading the book I realized I am missing things and so I decided to jump into The Queen's Poisoner without any thought. I would recommend reading the series in order to get the most out of it, but it's not really necessary if you find yourself hesitating to commit to the big series.
FOR THE WOLF (WILDERWOOD #1) BY HANNAH F. WHITTEN | BOOK REVIEW
For The Wolf by Hannah F Whitten is the first book in the Wilderwood series. This is also Hannah's debut, and the story is a retelling of the classic fairytale The Red Riding Hood. For The Wolf tells the story of Red, the second daughter of the Queen. She is also the only second daughter that has been born in centuries and will be sacrificed to the Wolf as per the traditions of their kingdom. The plan is to free the five Kings whom they see as their Gods. Red's Twin Neve as the first daughter will reign as a Queen after her mother. The two share a close bond…
