BOOK REVIEW : DEAD TO HER BY SARAH PINBOROUGH
Thank you, Netgalley and Harper Collins UK for providing me with an ARC of this book. I am leaving this review voluntarily. Dead To Her is my first experience with the author. I found the synopsis interesting and wanted to try some thrillers as I haven't been picking them up as of late. The story is a mystery, thriller and follows Marcie and Keisha. Marcie is the second wife of Jason Maddox. Her entry to the social circle was challenging and gaining acceptance from the other society wives was difficult. However, after some years, she has finally settled into the comfort of her position as Jason's wife. All sense of…

BOOK REVIEW : DJINN BY SANG KROMAH
Djinn is a YA urban fantasy with Djinns as the fantastical creatures. The story is told from Bijou a young teenager's perspective. We follow her move to the new town filled with new beginnings. The new town where they planned to settle hoping for a normal life gets turned upside down when supernatural events happen. BOOK REVIEW : WHERE THERE BE HUMANS BY REBEKAH L. PURDY
Where There Be Humans is an interesting story about a half-goblin who struggles with her identity. In a world where being half-goblin is looked down upon she has to fight her way to be respected and accepted. This is a romantic fantasy that mainly focuses on Ivy's journey than world-building. The world was fascinating with different fantastical species and creatures. The magic system was minimal. There was lore that sounded intriguing but was not expanded upon in the story. The book is easy to get through and fast-paced. There were some aspects of the story that reminded me of Harry Potter, with certain characters and their interactions. While the story…
