YOU AND ME ON VACATION BY EMILY HENRY | BOOK REVIEW

You And Me on Vacation by Emily Henry is my new favorite romance and I have been chasing after this exact feeling for some time now. It's a second chance friends-to-lovers romance. Poppy and Alex are the exact opposites and did not like each other on their first meeting. To say it was awkward and tense would be an understatement. Despite the rocky start the two of them end up taking a trip back home together and realize they might have been too hasty in forming their opinions on each other. Poppy is eccentric, fun, quirky, and outgoing and Alex is the quiet guy who prefers to stay indoors and…

BOOK REVIEW : THE CUL-DE-SAC WAR BY MELISSA FERGUSON

The Cul-de-sac War by Melissa Ferguson is a fun, lighthearted, and the slowest-burn romance. It's a clean romance with my favorite rom-com trope - hate-to-love. When I saw this title, I just couldn't resist requesting it. So I initially started reading this book long back, but never finished it because I had already planned it for November. I am sad that I didn't start over, but I simply continued from where I stopped because of my crappy scheduling. And it was over before I was ready for it to be. The story is told from the two perspectives of our main characters. Bree is a struggling stage artist and is…

BOOK REVIEW : PAINTING THE LINES (ACE OF HEARTS #1) BY ASHLEY R. KING

Painting The Lines is the first book in the Ace Of Hearts series and is also the debut novel from Ashley R. King. Look at that cover!! I love it when books have illustrated covers. It's so adorable. I haven't read many romances this year, and I was itching to read one so badly. Painting The Lines seemed like such a fun read with the enemies to lovers trope. As it's one of my favorite tropes in romance books, I was excited to dive into this one. Amalie is a writer with one bestseller under her belt. After having a onetime success with her book, her life became more challenging…

    MAY WRAP-UP

Ramadan and being Quarantined was a new experience for me, as I am sure it was for everyone else. It was interesting, to say the least. I wasn't sure how much reading I will be able to get done. But I just moved forward with the mindset that I will be doing my best to read as much as I can. Things did work out for me and for that I am extremely grateful. I was able to finish the entire Quran and also twelve books in addition to that. There were some really fun reads and some emotional reads in May. Overall May was a good reading month for…
