The Mid-year Freakout Book Tag!!
The Mid-year Freakout Book Tag was originally created by Chami. I didn't get tagged by anyone, but I thought this would be a cool and fun way to track all the books and characters that have made an impression on me.
Is Storm Front by Jim Butcher worth reading? | BOOK REVIEW (NON-SPOILER)
Storm Front by Jim Butcher is the first book in the well-known and well-loved urban fantasy series, The Dresden Files. It has the feel of a noir fiction and follows Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden the only wizard PI of Chicago. I have heard good things about this series on Youtube and have been wanting to try it for some time. When the chance came in the form of a buddy read for the series, I jumped at the opportunity to dive right in.
BOOK BLOGGER HOP
Writing Reviews is what I do mostly on my blog, and because it makes up for majority of my content, I try to write reviews for all the books I read. Initially when I started my website, I used to read a book and review it straight after.

SOULSMITH (CRADLE #2) BY WILL WIGHT | BOOK REVIEW
Soulsmith by Will Wight is the second book in the Cradle series. We are buddy reading the whole series and had a blast reading Unsouled. While I was a bit slow to start, I still had a ton of fun reading it with our Goodreads group. Everyone had interesting things to say and new insights to provide. Highly recommend buddy reading fantasy series as it not only helps in discussing the book and ideas but also helps in catching up to elements that we might have missed or glossed over and also makes it easier to keep track of all the details.
UNSOULED (CRADLE #1) BY WILL WIGHT | BOOK REVIEW
Unsouled by Will Wight is the first book in the Cradle series. It is an Asian-inspired fantasy. Although this is a YA/NA novel, it's an exceptionally addictive and fun fantasy for adults as well. This was also one of the buddy reads I signed up for on Goodreads and had a blast reading it with our group. I started Insouled in January and am only now getting to review the book. Life got hold of me and I am behind on most of my reviews.
