I absolutely adore this book. It is cute, amazing, vibrant and amazing. The book is so colorful and with lovable characters and an amazing bear who is a friend to these kids. Adelaide is simply your smart, take-charge kind of girl. She is someone who inspires and is confident in herself. She is fearless and open and not judgemental of anyone. Adelaide loves to write and her friend Theo is not who likes writing. We see Theo struggling and Adelaide decides to step in and help her friend by showing how Bear helps in writing by being a writing buddy.

Bear inspires and encourages to try and never give up. Bear asks questions, tells them to write their story and that every voice is important and no voice is the same. The sense of belongingness, respect, and acceptance of everyone is very well depicted and portrayed. The classroom is diverse with all kinds of students featuring different ethnicities. I saw a hijabi too in the midst of the students. The illustrations are beautiful and vibrant giving the kids a fun, reading experience that portrays the story very well. 

The story is lyrical at times making it feel almost like poetry. The idea of inspiring someone and encouraging someone and helping out is very evident in the book. I simply enjoyed it and would love to get a copy for my kids and will be checking out other books in the series as well. I think my kids will enjoy it. I gave it 5 stars and recommend checking it out if you have young ones at home. I highly recommend it.
