FEBRUARY WRAP-UP

Hello, fellow bookworms! How are you all doing? I don’t know what’s wrong with me, but I have been in a weird kind of reading slump that I don’t even know how to get out of. Add to that a busy schedule of home-chores, kids, their schools, and exams, I am mentally drained by the end of the day. I have been so busy that I don’t even know what to say. This month I planned to read 10 books. I know, I am late…Very late with this post… I apologize for my tardiness.. I am blaming my funk on this one…

I started on a high and then things went downhill, as they often do… And then I stumbled upon some ACOTAR memes and ACOTAR booktoks that saved me from my funk. I have read (actually listened) two 2 books from this series and am on my way through the 3rd book right now. I am enjoying it so far. It’s an over-the-top, entertaining, romantic fantasy, with an interesting world and a soft magic system. But I am still invested and the FANDOM has so much to offer and makes it a fun reading experience.

Now that I have told you about my latest obsession, let’s get our show on the road. Shall we??

So as I said earlier, my plan was 10 books, but then I got another book that I found to be very interesting and so I added it as a last-minute addition to my TBR. And so with a total of 11 books, I finally managed to finish 10 books, and 1 temporarily DNFed. I don’t know if I will pick it back up, but I am keeping the book open right now. It’s not working for me so far and I am thinking of permanently DNFing it, but I decided to give it another chance. I also didn’t add ACOTAR, which I technically finished in February, but I am planning to do the entire series review for it rather than doing individual ones, so you won’t be seeing it on this list.
