    FEBRUARY WRAP-UP

Hello, fellow bookworms! How are you all doing? I don't know what's wrong with me, but I have been in a weird kind of reading slump that I don't even know how to get out of. Add to that a busy schedule of home-chores, kids, their schools, and exams, I am mentally drained by the end of the day. I have been so busy that I don't even know what to say. This month I planned to read 10 books. I know, I am late...Very late with this post... I apologize for my tardiness.. I am blaming my funk on this one...

    JANUARY WRAP-UP

2021 is on the way, and I don't really know how to feel about this year even after a month into it. January is over and I planned to start slow because I had a hard time with reading. I have been picking up some really emotional books and my mood was not in the best place when I picked them up. So I decided to not put pressure on myself and take it easy. I picked up 4, which seemed like a safe number to start with. I have a new all-time favorite, which also ironically happens to be an emotional read, but it was inspiring, beautiful, and uplifting…

    DECEMBER,  WRAP-UP

    DECEMBER WRAP-UP

The plan for December is 10 books initially. With everything going on with my mental health and the kind of books I have been reading - I decided to take it easy on myself and read 8 books. All these books were quite long, and quite honestly sad or gloomy books. I guess because I was in a depressed mood, I have been gravitating towards books that are similar to my mood. December was still a good month, and I am hoping I have been able to give the few readers who read my blog some variety and a wider selection of books. Here are the 8 books I read…

    OCTOBER,  WRAP-UP

    OCTOBER WRAP-UP

October started out being quite hectic with our recent move into a new apartment and getting everything settled. Hence, I wasn't sure if I would be able to read the books I had planned for this month. But thankfully, I have managed to read them on time and also put a significant dent in my ever-overflowing Netgalley ARC shelf!! So this month started with a not so great book, and I was worried if my other selections will not be up to my expectations. I am happy to say that most of them lived up to my expectations, and I was able to have a fun time this month. I…

    SEPTEMBER,  WRAP-UP

    SEPTEMBER WRAP-UP

September was quite the month for me! I wasn't sure if I'll be able to read the books on my TBR, with kids getting back to online classes and our move this month. Things were hectic, and I so close to dropping everything. One of the reasons I wasn't sure I was going to make my TBR target was because all the books I planned for this month happen to be the lengthier, slower-paced, literary, and historical fiction books. It was the kind of books one needs to take the time and savor it rather than reading in one sitting. I am ecstatic and proud to have finished all of…

    AUGUST WRAP-UP

This month I had a great time with a lot of my books. I had some amazing books that I immensely enjoyed this month. I was also able to complete an entire series and a few authors I will be on the lookout for after this month. August was a good reading month for me and I was able to complete 10 books in total. I completed my Goodreads Challenge as well. This makes me so happy. I hope you guys also had a productive reading month. Let me…
