NEXUS POINT BY K PIMPINELLA | BOOK REVIEW
I finally got around to reviewing Nexus Point. It was first planned for the book tour I did with Escapist Book Tours, but the book was late to arrive and so I had to postpone it. I had a good time with it and am excited to continue on with the series, especially after that epilogue. It did have certain things that didn't work very well for me. The Hunger of the gods is the second book in The Bloodsworn Saga. It picks up right after where we left off in The Shadow of the Gods. The story is set in a Norse-inspired world called Vigrið. We follow our 3 main Characters Orka, Elvar and Varg after the events of book 1 into new adventures. Lik-Rifa has risen and now the Battle-Grim needs to find a way to restore the balance. The solution is the kind with lots of danger. Battle-Grim's decision will change the world once again tipping the scales and creating more conflict. The high stakes all-out war breaks out threatening the land of Vigrið.

THE HOUSE OF STYX (VENUS ASCENDANT #1) BY DEREK KUNSKEN | BOOK REVIEW
The House Of Styx by Derek Künsken is the first novel in the Venus Ascendant sci-fi series set in the churning clouds of Venus. Künsken creates a story of survival and family values. The atmospheric and visually detailed setting for this story is the highlight of this story. The harsh environment and unrelenting acidic rain in the atmosphere of Venus make for a challenging living environment for its inhabitants. While the rest of the world has taken over other planets in the solar system, the Québécois descendants have managed to inhabit Venus and make a new home.
