BOOK REVIEW : ETERNAL DARKNESS (ETERNAL DARKNESS #1) BY J.F.JOHNS
Eternal Darkness is the first book in the Eternal Darkness series. This book is a dystopian science-fiction. I have already read After Darkness which is the fourth book in this series. It takes place 160 years after the third book ended. I was intrigued by the history of the cyborg and human war and the character's past. So I requested the author for review copies and got them approved. Finally, I was able to get back into the fascinating world of humans, cyborgs, and X-prototypes. I enjoyed After darkness so much and was so excited to read the book that kicked-off the journey for humans and cyborgs. We get introduced…
BOOK REVIEW : A PROMISE OF RETURN (THE OUTLANDS PENTALOGY #3) BY REBECCA CRUNDEN
A Promise Of Return by Rebecca Crunden is the third book in The Outland's Pentalogy Series. This series is a fantasy/science-fiction set in a dystopian world. I am so thankful to Rebecca for her patience because this book has been sitting on my shelf for some time now. I planned to read this book as soon as I finished A History Of Madness. Unfortunately, I had a lot of books that I had committed before this book and so I scheduled it for August. I have been dying to get back to reading this book and I am so happy to say I finally finished it. Boy oh boy, what…
RABT BOOK TOURS – BOOK REVIEW : NIGHTMASTERS (DOUBLES TALK #1) BY LORAN HOLT
Nightmasters by Loran Holt is her debut fantasy. I was very much intrigued by the synopsis. The story follows a great cast of characters who are very much different in their backgrounds and experiences. Kelgan Defthand is our main protagonist and he has always been the top mage at the Magical Academy. He worked hard to get to the position of Senior Apprentice Mage in a short time outdoing older students. His progress made him overly confident and quite sure of himself. After some time dark voices torment him at night stripping him of his confidence and ability as a mage. His headmaster notices his deteriorating performances. He gets called…

BOOK REVIEW : WHERE THERE BE HUMANS BY REBEKAH L. PURDY
Where There Be Humans is an interesting story about a half-goblin who struggles with her identity. In a world where being half-goblin is looked down upon she has to fight her way to be respected and accepted. This is a romantic fantasy that mainly focuses on Ivy's journey than world-building. The world was fascinating with different fantastical species and creatures. The magic system was minimal. There was lore that sounded intriguing but was not expanded upon in the story. The book is easy to get through and fast-paced. There were some aspects of the story that reminded me of Harry Potter, with certain characters and their interactions. While the story…

YA BOUND BOOK TOURS – BOOK REVIEW : LIVE LIKE LEGENDS BY KATE CORNELL
Live Like Legends is a typical starter YA fantasy with a stronger focus on romance. The story is a fun, entertaining, and engaging read that you can easily pick up and finish in a day. While the world-building and character arcs are not fleshed out to their fullest extent, the story still managed to capture my attention and keep me interested till the end. I liked how the story took two characters from different cultures, backgrounds, and languages to be married to fulfill a prophecy. The whole idea of an immortal beast destroying a country by killing the royal family also added to the dark theme of the book. Kalista…

War and Speech is a fantastic read and I enjoyed every second of it. I found the concept to be new and fresh. I loved the set up for the story and how the speech and debate program was used in delivering relevant messages as well.
BOOK REVIEW : A HISTORY OF MADNESS (THE OUTLANDS PENTALOGY #2) BY REBECCA CRUNDEN
A history of madness is the second book in The Outland's Pentalogy series. I read the first book in January. I gave the book 4.5 stars. The world-building is fascinating. We have the mutants and humans at war with each other. Both species have their own views about how the world came to be the way it is now. The humans have ruled the world that emerged after the devastation with firm hands and is ruthlessly enacting laws and regulations to keep the citizens from finding freedom. The indoctrination of the Kingdom is deeply rooted in a falsified history.
