Seeds Of War (The Smokesmiths #1) by João F. Silva | BOOK REVIEW
Seeds of War by Joao Silvia is the first book in the Smokesmith series, a brand-new epic fantasy series. I've been eager to read this book since I saw Joao talk about it on Steve's channel. His description of a single mother and a war veteran really piqued my curiosity. And so to say I was thrilled when I received an advance copy of the book would be an understatement. Having read Joao's short story earlier, I already knew I would enjoy his writing style. So I am happy to report that this book did meet my expectations. This was such a captivating story and I enjoyed reading it, just…

Yellow Sky Revolt (The Three Kingdoms Chronicles #1) by Baptiste Pinson Wu | BOOK REVIEW
A fantastic introduction to a brand new series. I have always thought historical fiction similar to these would be quite intimidating and almost always thought they were not accessible for someone like me. Not only did this book prove me wrong on both fronts, Baptiste also executed the story so well that I now need to know more about this piece of history. Any book that can have that kind of influence on me is just great. I am so looking forward to continuing on this journey with Liao Hua.

Sordaneon (The Triempery Revelations #1) By L.L. Stephens | BOOK REVIEW | Escapist Book Tours
Sordaneon by LL Stephens is the first book in The Triempery Revelations series. This is an epic fantasy series that is very ambitious and expansive in its scope and I had a great time reading it. I am still trying to formulate my thoughts on this book after having finished it just this morning. Did I get any sleep last night?? Nope!! Was it worth it?? Absolutely!! ?That final chapter has left me feeling all kinds of ways and am really curious to see where this story will go from here and how the plot will unfold moving forward.
THE PRICE OF POWER BY MICHAEL MICHEL | BOOK REVIEW
The Price Of Power is a fantastic introduction to a brand new epic dark/grimdark fantasy series from Micahel Michel. This is a multi-POV, character-driven, dark, and gritty story with interesting themes and political intrigue woven into it. The world was fascinating with various races with unique cultures, traditions, and backgrounds. I loved their introduction in the prologue, and it really gave us an understanding of how the different groups were aligned in the political landscape of the world. We also get a lot of political scheming and intrigue along with an interesting magic system. The writing is immersive and atmospheric with vivid descriptions bringing the world to life effortlessly.

LIGHT FIGHTERS (STAR CHILDREN SAGA #2) BY PALMER PICKERING | BOOK REVIEW | Escapist Book Tours
Light Fighters is the second book in the Star Children Saga. If you have read Moon Deeds, then you know this is a brilliantly executed science fiction fantasy that combines the elements from both genres seamlessly. I really enjoyed Moon Deeds and had a wonderful time with it. The ending had me picking this one up right after finishing it because I just couldn't wait to find out what happened after that cliffhanger ending. Light Fighters picks up right after where we left off in Moon Deeds and does a fantastic job of bringing together a wonderful story, expanding upon the already established world, and history, and adding so much…
